Squire Stratocaster – Setup
In the Marlow workshop for a re-string, stone set up and truss rod adjustment.
Slightly different from the average Squire Stratocaster that we usually get. This one originated in Australia which may explain why the neck was a bit like a boomerang. Fortunately, this was just down to a badly adjusted truss rod. I am always nervous of truss rod adjustments. If it was not adjusted correctly to start with, it could be that there are issues. Also truss rod adjustments and if done incorrectly can cause neck issues. This one had a great outcome it took two adjustments of 15 degrees each but now plays as well as any Squire we have here.
