The Purple Squire Experiment Part 1

We picked up a purple Affinity Squire Strat (serial numbered)…. quite cheaply.

Condition: Pretty poor, dings to the wood, rust, electrics in need of attention.
On the plus side the neck is in great condition with no fret wear at all.

Progress: Stripped it and started preparing the body for new lacquer.
Loaded a Fender Stratocaster scratch plate and while it will require new screw holes… it fits the Squire body without having to rout out space for the humbucker pickup.
